Refund Policy – Young Muslims (YouM)

Effective Date: April 2026

At Young Muslims (YouM), our programmes are designed as structured, year-round learning journeys. To ensure consistency for students and teachers, our refund policy reflects the commitment required for enrolment in programmes such as Pathway to Quran (PTQ).

By enrolling your child in our programmes, you acknowledge and agree to the refund terms outlined below.

1. Non-Refundable Fees

All fees paid to Young Muslims (YouM) are non-refundable once payment has been made, including but not limited to:

  • • Monthly programme fees
  • • Registration or administrative fees
  • • Fees for unused classes or missed sessions

This policy applies regardless of attendance once a student is officially enrolled.

2. Missed Classes

Refunds will not be provided for missed classes due to personal circumstances, including:

  • • Illness
  • • Family commitments
  • • Vacations or travel
  • • Participation in other activities

Where possible, learning materials or recordings may be shared to help students catch up independently.

3. Public Holidays and Scheduled Breaks

Classes that fall on public holidays, school holiday breaks, or scheduled programme breaks will not be rescheduled and are not eligible for refunds.

Programme fees remain unchanged as they are structured and averaged across the yearly learning schedule.

4. Ramadan Lesson Format

During Ramadan, some classes may be delivered in pre-recorded lessons, reflective activities, or adjusted formats to support families during the month.

These lessons remain part of the regular programme schedule, and fees remain payable with no refunds or adjustments.

5. Withdrawal from Programme

Parents who wish to withdraw their child from a programme must provide one month written notice via email or official communication channels.

Please note:

  • • Fees for the final month of enrolment remain payable.
  • • Fees already paid are not refundable, even if the student does not attend the remaining classes.

6. Financial Hardship

We understand that family circumstances can change.

If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact us privately. We may be able to discuss possible arrangements or support options on a case-by-case basis to help your child continue learning.

7. Programme Changes

Young Muslims (YouM) reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to programme schedules, lesson formats, or delivery methods when necessary to ensure continuity of learning.

Such adjustments do not qualify for refunds.

8. Agreement to Policy

By enrolling your child in any Young Muslims (YouM) programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
