Voices of Young Muslims 2026 is a nationwide competition organised by YouM (Young Muslims): open to young Muslims across Singapore aged 4 to 16.
For the first time, the competition features two dedicated tracks: Boys compete in the Young Muazzin azan competition, and Girls compete
in the
Young Qariah surah recitation competition. From your child's first practice to the Grand Finals at SalamFest 2026 - this is a journey of faith and confidence.

Young Muazzin
Boys Azan Competition
Boys • Ages 4–16
Nurture your son’s confidence and love for the adhan through the Young Muazzin Azan Competition.
Three Age Categories
Compete at Their Level
Participants compete within their own age group: Pre-school (4–6), Young Schoolers (7–12) and Teenagers (13–16).
Young Qariah — Girls Surah Recitation Competition
The Young Qariah track is open to girls aged 4 to 16. Participants are invited to submit a video of themselves reciting a selected surah from Juz Amma (max 3 mins) — with proper tajweed, fluency, memorisation accuracy and composure.
Ages: 4–16
(three age categories)
Participants compete only against others in their own age group. Pre-school, Ages 4 to 6 Young Schoolers, Ages 7 to 12 Teenagers, Ages 13 to 16
