Terms of Service – Young Muslims (YouM)

Effective Date: April 2026

Welcome to Young Muslims (YouM). These Terms of Service govern the use of our website, services, and educational programmes, including Pathway to Quran (PTQ). By enrolling your child in our programmes or using our website, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Enrolment and Programme Participation

Young Muslims (YouM) provides educational programmes designed to support children in their Islamic learning journey. Enrolment in our programmes confirms that parents or guardians agree to the policies, schedules, and programme structure established by YouM.

Programme details such as class schedules, lesson formats, and communication channels will be shared through official communication platforms such as email or WhatsApp.

2. Payment of Fees

Monthly programme fees must be paid in advance to secure your child’s participation in the programme.

The following payment terms apply:

  • • Monthly programme fees are $95, payable in advance by the 1st of each month.
  • • A one time registration and administrative fee of $30 will be charged during sign up.
  • • Fees must be paid in full regardless of attendance.

Late payments may result in reminders being issued. Continued non payment may lead to temporary suspension of participation until outstanding fees are settled.

3. Class Absences

Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure students can follow the learning flow and benefit fully from the programme.

Please note the following:

  • No refunds or fee adjustments will be provided for missed classes due to personal reasons such as illness, travel, or other commitments.
  • • Parents are encouraged to inform the class facilitator in advance if their child will be absent.

Where possible, learning materials or recordings may be shared to help students catch up.

4. Public Holidays

Classes that fall on public holidays will not be conducted.

There will be no make up classes or fee adjustments for sessions that fall on public holidays as programme fees are structured across the yearly schedule.

5. Withdrawals

If parents wish to withdraw their child from the programme, the following conditions apply:

  • • A one month written notice must be submitted via email.
  • Fees for the final month of attendance remain payable, even if the student does not attend all remaining classes.

Withdrawal requests will only be considered valid once written notice has been received.

6. Refund Policy

All programme fees are non refundable once payment has been made.

This includes:

  • • Missed classes
  • • Unused lessons
  • • Early withdrawal from the programme

By enrolling in the programme, parents acknowledge and accept this refund policy.

7. Student Code of Conduct

Young Muslims (YouM) aims to maintain a respectful and positive learning environment for all students.

Students are expected to:

  • • Log in or arrive 5 to 10 minutes before class begins.
  • • Demonstrate respect, good adab, and a positive attitude toward teachers and peers.
  • • Participate actively in class activities and discussions.

Disruptive behaviour may result in reminders to parents or further action if necessary to maintain a conducive learning environment.

8. Communication

Important announcements, schedules, and updates will be communicated through official channels such as email or WhatsApp groups.

Parents are responsible for ensuring their contact information is accurate and up to date.

9. Changes to Terms

Young Muslims (YouM) reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service when necessary. Any updates will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling your child in a Young Muslims (YouM) programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
